"Great character in this old home with updated features. Ocean front with direct beach access is amazing! There are so many amenities in the home. Record player with a great collection of vinyls, books to read, puzzles, foosball, multiple areas to sit and relax watching the view.
Note the 5th bedroom is a single twin with an alcove that has a foam mattress in it, great for kids. The upstairs bedrooms are pretty warm even though they have a window to listen to the waves. Lower bedroom window is super close to neighbors deck so at night you hear them. Back bedroom that is the master has no open window option only a door to the courtyard. Lots of doors... you can see how this house could have been smaller cottages added together. Hot tub is SMALL... house fits 10 but hot tub is best at 2, maybe 3. We loved our stay."

"This home is lovingly decorated and perfectly located. If you are someone who enjoys a fully- stocked kitchen or all the unique furnishings that make a home stand out then this is the place for you. Plus, the management company is friendly and responsive. We got home and immediately booked another visit, which we have never done before. Loved it!"

"The view was amazing, especially in the stormy weather. The house was comfortable and had great beds. There was a large dark stain on the carpet by the fireplace that was kind of gross but the rest of the house was very clean. Great house for our group of 7 adults."

"Our weekend was wonderful as usual at Heathergate. The weather turned out to be very nice for February. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the upgrades that have been made. Only one thing that wasn't good. The CO2 alarm in the bedroom off the kitchen started beeping after midnight on the last night. Even removing the alarm from the plug-in didn't stop the notification that the unit needed to be replaced. Naturally, several of us did not sleep well at all that night.

"We are a group of 5 women and we’ve been going to Heathergate for 7 years, to quilt. We love it here! The newer pictures and decorations aren’t as beachy as before. The new upscale improvements are wonderful, the bathrooms are very techy for us older women , but never the less are great. The toilet paper could use an upgrade, awfully thin. We hope we can continue to be healthy enough to come for many years. The property was perfect for us, clean, and comfor table, with no problems. We would highly
recommend Heathergate to anyone. It’s also close to the beach, a stones throw and your there.

"Stayed at the home with a total of 10 women for a girls' getaway weekend. The layout, location and atmosphere of the house were perfect for us. The only issue we had is that it was 90+ degrees in the main living area because it was a warm day on the coast (high 70s outside) and the sun beating in through the glass made the inside of the house pretty unlivable for several hours, and we were told there is no A/C. Still, sunshine on the Oregon Coast is never a bad thing, and we made good use of the outside spaces as a result. "

"For many years we (6-8 women) have stayed at Heathergate. It feels like home to us. Perfect location, and the house size is very nice. But, for the last couple of visits it has been filled up with, what appears to be leftovers from a moving sale. Lots of nicnacks, extra unnecessary furniture that makes the living room cramped. Also, several of the bedroom closets are now locked, so places for clothing is limited. They’ve added a hot tub, but realistically only 2 people can go in at a time. We love this place, but miss its original ambiance."

"This house has always brought lots of fond memories to our family over the past 25 years of renting annually. This is an older home but with some nice remodeling. Located on a dead end road we always enjoy the easy location with ample parking(which some homes do not have), a nice picture window for viewing the ocean, stairs to the sand and close to activities including the casino for Bingo! A hot tub has been added with outdoor solar lighting giving nice ambience. We are disappointed and saddened however, looking at the approx. 50% rent increase for next year same time. Realizing inflation has hit, our pocket books can not keep up. "

Fall and Winter are incredibly inexpensive but not when booked a year in advance. Try getting a quote a few months out from your stay rather than a year from your stay. "This was the perfect place for me to have my sons and their families. We haven't taken a vacatio0n together in 23 years, it was so fun for all of us to be together. It was relaxing and such a great place for the kids from 11 to 14 mos.
We are already planning the next trip. We spread some of my mom's ashes since she passed July 21st.
My granddaughter told me we always had to come to this house so we could be with Dani.

"The home was a dream home with a central entertainment area with ocean view and fireplace. The rooms were cozy and the decor gave it a real old school beach feel which I prefer. The kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for our family. Easy each access made it so we didn’t have to leave to enjoy the beach. We were able to build a fire down on the beach and enjoy our time down there as well. All in all it was a great experience and we love the home and would highly recommend it for any family up to 10 people."

"Our entire group LOVED this home! We will definitely be back! First, there is plenty of parking space. We only had 2 cars but many homes along the road had to parallel park in their own tiny drive and this one had ample space for 4 vehicles. Second, the entry courtyard is a lovely sunny place to sit outside and block the wind. The entry to the home is a very large sunroom that is perfect for our kids to dump their dirty shoes and gear. The view can be seen the second you start walking up the path to the home. The house had so much room, the kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable and my favorite spot to lounge was the great little window seat. Steps to the beach and an amazing deck to watch from. We absolutely loved our stay! Home was clean, no smoke or pet smells, no loud party neighbors, close by other homes but set up so you don’t feel like they’re looking in. Kitchen had plenty of tools we needed. There were a few little sugar ants but the owners have obviously taken steps to clean and prevent them and they can’t control if they sneak in at night. We just made sure to keep our food sealed up and put away. Truly didn’t bother us. I will definitely be back to rent this home. Next time, it’ll be a longer stay! 5 stars! Highly recommend!"

"The layout and location of this house was great for a family trip with kids. The house is older and the heating isn't the best, but was sufficient for what we needed. The house was clean (except for the kids bed in the cave, which had been missed by housekeeping) and the property manager was exceptional. We did have a major issue with ants. Half of our food was covered when we woke up the first morning and had to be thrown out. We contacted the property manager and she had someone come that day to spray the outside of the house and also gave us some indoor spray. It helped but we kept the food in the fridge just in case. Would recommend overall. "

"House was quirky and rustic in a good way .The back of the house was all windows and nothing but beach and ocean was amazing.We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday and had a total of 8 adults and the furniture was so comfortable and fit all of us.The kitchen table was to small for 8 of us but made it work.Just a heads up .This property does not want you to cook fish or crab in the house.Which was a small inconvenience.The grill outside was disgusting and small and old.We had to clean it before using it.I would recommend this house the property manager was awesome to work with and the parking in front of the house fit 4 cars and the kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook in."

"This was my 15th experience in the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City. We had a great time at Heathergate. It was my 3rd time staying there. A granddaughter chose this for her Senior experience prior to graduation from high school. We enjoyed the beach and shopping and the food options. The home was comfortable and welcoming. I hope we can return again!!"

"This is an annual trip that 3 of us friends take every year. We do a different house in Lincoln City and surrounding area, and this was our 6th house. It is an older house, but was so clean and that is all that matters to me. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all kinda together, so you are looking out at the ocean always. A nice little deck off this area, but the weather was rainy, so didn’t use, which was ok. This place I would recommend over and over again. We loved it!"

"Heathergate is a lovely home with amazing views. Road's End is one of our favorite locations on the Oregon Coast. It feels like a small beach town but is also close to everything (shopping, etc.). The home was very clean and comfortable. It was only my husband and I but this home would be great for a larger family. Loved the access to the beach. I would definitely recommend this home."

"We came to enjoy the view of the ocean, wanting a comfortable place to stay with fantastic views. We got so much more then expected. To say the view was spectacular is an understatement. I brought my Mom & my Mother in Law to Lincoln City to just get out of the house, away from lock down, to forget about the pandemic, if only for a few days. Worked like a charm, kitchen is well equipped but I would recommend a toaster. We only utilized the downstairs portion of the home. We were comfortable, warm, and just relaxed. Weather was great, minus the wind storm and near miss of the neighbors chimney cap to my car. Thank you so much for opening your home up to the rental market. (Flies were relentless)"

"We have been renting from A1 for many years. I have tried a couple of other companies but came back to A1 Beach rentals and will not rent elsewhere. The houses are always clean and if there is the slightest issue, they are on it. The variety of rentals they have is fabulous as well. They are awesome."

"We chose this house because of the minimal stairs and the view for my elderly parent and we were not disappointed! 3 of the 5 bedrooms are on the main level and we liked that also. One of the rooms upstairs (with dormer space) is smaller than it looked in the photos and with 2 twin beds so really more for kids than adults. House was super clean and loved having direct beach access from the house."

"This house has always been our favorite for many many years. It is an old style mixed with new. No matter rain or shine you can look out the big windows in the living room and watch the waves and people go by. It is located on a quiet end of the beach so it is not as crowded as some. There is lots of entertainment with the casino, outlet mall, antique shops, Christmas shop and tide pools close by. We have had many "great family pow wows" on the back porch listening to the ocean under the sun and the moon! We will always love this place. "

"Very homey, comfortable and fantastic location. This place is worth renting just for the deck and private access to the beach. All the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen was well set up. The only "negatives" were, the hot water ran out during the shower if the second shower was started, the shower heads were pretty low and we found a couple ants in the kitchen. Everything was clean and spacious. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again! "

The view from inside the house and on the deck is quite grand. Beds are comfy, and kitchen is well stocked for our wants and needs. Already booked to stay here again next year. Can't wait!"

"Lovely fully stocked house. Comfortable and killer view. Small issue of heater not working in king bedroom but maintenance was sent to look at it same day we called. Other side of house heat was working fine, and an oil space heater was provide so not a large issue. "

"We had a group of 5 middle aged couples at the house for a milestone birthday party. The location right on the beach was perfect! We loved the huge windows so we could stare at the ocean all day or sit in the lovely patio spaces. The living space was very comfortable. Great weekend!"

Perfect Weekend gateway for family and friends

"We stayed in the property with our extended family who were visiting us from Arizona and it was an amazing experience for the whole family. The property is located at the beach and you will get private access to the beach, the amazing open sea view from the living and dining area will even amaze you on a cloudy or chilly day. Everything was neat and clean, we initially was having an issue with the lock but the manager arrived very promptly after we call and helped us unlock . There is a Safeway just in walking distance, so even late night bbq plan we made was super easy to execute. Thanks a lot to the property owners for giving our whole family an amazing experience , we will definitely come back again . "

Wonderful Time!

"This is the second year that we have stayed at Heathergate. We love it! The home is so comfortable and cozy. We saw bald eagles one morning and a group of about 20 pelicans feeding another morning. It's very relaxing to sit in the great room in the early morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the waves and the wildlife through the large windows. With extremely low tides, we were able to explore the tide pools. They are amazing! We plan on coming again next year."

HEATHERGATE RENTAL

"We had a great time in this rental and it was great for our group of 7. We had parking for four vehicles which we were concerned about and even had to bring two 4 wheel drive pickups because of the snow that we had to go through to get to Lincoln City. We had ample room for all of us. Loved the beach and the view was tremendous. We thank you!"

Heathergate is Great!

"This is a wonderful spot on Roads End. The house is steps from the beach and has such wonderful views. Great places to hang out throughout the house inside and out. Really appreciated that everything is so well maintained. First time Ive stayed in a rental home where nothing was broken. The kitchen is well equiped for meal preperations. Easy parking for four cars is plus in this neighborhood too. We will be back for sure. "
