"The very picture that is in use for this survey represents 2 things. 1st the gorgeous view and how you are sitting on the beach. ( lovely) however; 2nd the chairs sitting on the yard miss-represents what is allowed. There is DO NOT Do list everywhere. One of those DO NOT is to have those wood lawn chairs on the lawn that this photo so eloquently represents an inviting sit and sip in comfort! Nope chairs are to stay on concrete patio. The kitchen is a small small space. The home itself is lovely but a 40ft Monaco has the same size refrigerator, and shower. Although this home represents large family friendly, I would suggest that a family that likes to cook meals inside or outdoors should prepare themselves accordingly. We made it work and enjoyed our stay but was a disturbed by tiny kitchen and baby bbq set up. If you are a fast food, or eat out for most of you meals and need beds for a large family this would work. "

"We've been to this particular home many times. It's always clean and ready for guests. The issues we have is a very limited amount of bathroom tissue/paper towels. For over $500/night we should not have to worry about running out. Also, the number of towels, glasses, wine glasses, dishes in general should be enough to handle all guests (8) reported. We had to locate the storage for towels in the laundry room for a set. Plus we ended up using plastic cups at times because of the lack of glasses, etc. Small juice-size cups and small wine glasses would be welcome."

"This was a perfect space! Roomy, large yard, incredibly easy access to the beach. A little to much chemicals in the hot tub and low water, but opening it and letting sit awhile helped the chemical smell to dissipate some. I would most definitely choose this place again!"

"Had a great time at this great Beach house. This was our third time at this house and love the location and just steps away from the beach. The house has plenty of space for a group of 10. Bathrooms on each floor with only showers. The hot tube was amazing. ( I miss having one). The kitchen can use an update. There is no garbage disposal and the kitchen sink drains very slow. The oven stove tops are electric. The fridge is on the smaller side and the dish washer is small. All appliances work, for the most part. Thankfully there were enough garbage bags, but not enough paper towels or TP. we had to buy both, not a big deal. Most of the beds are comfortable with the exceptions of the twin beds in the house. The mattresses definitely need replacing with more comfortable ones. I would give this rental a 7 out 10, for reasons listed above. Unfortunately, the cost for renting has more than doubled, so this will be our last year renting. :-( "

"The place is amazing with one exception. You request we dont cook fish in the house so we planned to use the BBQ. The BBQ is full of mold and needs to be replaced or cleaned and sanitized. We wasted some good fish by following the rules. We will be back though!"

"We stayed at Stairs to the Sea Dec. 19th -26th 2021 (had to bail out a day early due to predicted snow storm, wanted to make sure we could get home). We had 7 adults and one baby in our group. The view and location are incredible, the house was warm and cozy in the face of some pretty strong winter storms. Watching the high surf and wind from the home was very enjoyable. Great beach combing and scenery to enjoy. The beds are very comfortable, as was living room, 7 of us were able to sit very comfortably . The kitchen was very well equipped, we had no problem at all preparing and serving a big holiday dinner. The table was big and fit us with room to spare. The hot tub was clean and covered, but still with a great view of the ocean. The showers are on the small side, but work well, hot water was never a problem. The property was clean and well-maintained. We were very happy with the house and would recommend it highly."

"Love the location! - On our arrival lots of notes with rules some that might make you insure extra charges, extra sand in house, if kids messed up bed your not using, etc, etc. refrigerator not at food safe temp- note saying you can't turn it up. Lots of beds so the kids don't have to share- The built-in beds are a hit! House is cute and has well-stocked kitchen. Much cleaner than last year's house. Colder weather made the hot tub a hit! 11:00 check out and owner/ cleaning crew was at house at 10:55 not happy we were not gone. This left us feeling bad upon leaving as we had spent extra time cleaning
up. Over all we had a so much fun- Had our 6 grandkids with us and they loved it. "

Although the built in beds are super fun for kids, some were eating sticky candy in the bedrooms which made for lots of extra work. Fridge works great and is set a the perfect safe temp. I bought a nice big cooler that guests can use for cooling drinks. Adding those room temp products to the fridge can take hours to cool. I'll speak with the cleaners about showing up a few minutes late as opposed to a few minutes early. Your thoughtfulness and preparing the house for your departure is super appreciated. Kitchen is well stocked with Pots, Pans, Dishes, Silverware. Hot tub was great, a bit cloudy, may have needed a water exchange, but it was working properly. The charcoal grill is a bit messy and hard to clean. Should be replaced with a propane type. Had to buy the charcoal. Already booked for next trip. Recommended. "

"Our family had a very nice stay in this home. The beds and couches were comfortable, the view amazing and the location can't be beat. There are enough rooms/beds to accommodate quite a large group, but be aware that the dishwasher/sink/kitchen is small, so just keep that in mind during your planning, especially if you're planning to prepare your own meals, as we did. Everything was very clean and tidy, though we did question the hot tub because of the color of the water. We had a few small things to communicate to A-1 during our stay and they were very prompt / professional in their response. Overall very nice stay. We would definitely stay there again! "

"Great location, beach access was great also. Plenty of room in house; good layout. Downstairs bathroom had some needed maintenance which we called in and outside garbage cans were almost full when we arrived. Otherwise was a good weekend."

"I have stayed at this beachhouse several times. Always a great experience. This would be great for families with children too. I stay with several friends. I am sad because this will be our last stay at this house. A couple of us senior ladies have health problems that make staying at a house with stairs too much of a challenge. Love the house."

"We stayed in this wonderful beach home for 3 nights. We have stayed in serveral other homes along the Oregon coast and you will not find any easier beach access than this..just a few steps right off the back lawn!!! The large yard was wonderful as well, we even set up a corn hole game, and the hot tub was great! The home itself was wonderful...we loved the downstairs area with large open living room, dining room and kitchen. We cooked nearly all of our meals and the kitchen is unbelievably stocked with anything you can imagine. Home is very spacious and can accomodate a large group. Beds were all super comfy. Location is awesome just a half mile to Chinook Winds Casino and very convenient to restaurants and shops. Views are spectacular and there is nothing like the sound of the ocean!!! We had the time of our lives!!! Just a truly great experience."

"A house right on the beach with just a few steps to the sand. Great weather the whole time we were there. A broken chair was the only issue we had and we had a replacement within about 20 minutes from the time we contacted A1. A hot tub you can sit in and watch the surf. Comfortable beds and a fairly well equipped kitchen. This was our 4th time staying here for a total of 34 nights and we will be back. "

"We enjoyed the Lincoln City beach house. The views are gorgeous and we watched the sunset every evening. The beds were comfortable, The showers had good water pressure. The kitchen was well stocked. We had to call management once for a car parked in the houses parking spots and they dealt with it very quickly. We enjoyed the warm hot tub. Overall a great place. "

I love the new mattress toppers. Makes such a difference!!!!

Would be great to have a curtain of some sort on the upstairs bedroom with the awesome little cubby beds for the kids. The neighbors light came on every evening and it was like sleeping with a light on.

"We have been coming to Lincoln City as a little winter get away for over 30 years and believe me when I tell you this one of the coziest homes we've stayed in over the years! We LOVED it! The view is incredible as the whole beach side of the house is windows from the kitchen to living room. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds very comfortable and everything is clean and just plain cozy!!
