Join the Fun at Lincoln City’s 4th of July Celebration

Yacoov Bergman, the Artistic Director of the Siletz Bay Music Festival, has curated a wonderful 2-week program of chamber, vocals, big band and full orchestra music from June 20^th to July 4^th. Many performances will take place at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, but a variety of music events will be hosted at other venues around Lincoln City as well. It all culminates with the “Sweet Land of Liberty” Festival Orchestra at Salishan Spa and Golf Resort on the 4^th of July.

Pixie Fest

Last but not least, the Coastal Encounters Beachcombing 101 clinic with author Kay Myers starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Driftwood Public Library on May 22^nd.

Cooking Classes at the Culinary Center in Lincoln City

If you love preparing and eating fine food, perhaps a cooking class at Lincoln City’s Culinary Center is the ideal way for you to spend a day. The center often hosts cooking classes from 11 a.m. to 2p.m. on Saturdays for a set $75 fee including a meal and drinks at the end. There are also many hand-blown glass floats made by the same artists available at local shops. Chances are you can find one on the beach this Spring Break, though, because 300 additional pieces of glass art will be dropped between March 24^th and April 8^th.

The Lincoln City Cultural Center will play host to the Festival Illusions between March 25^th and April 5^th this year.
