  Our family headed to the Oregon Coast for Spring Break and what a wonderful surprise. We planned on a lot of 'inside time' as we expected rain. Instead, we were on the beach everyday in the SUN! The Sea Star South was just perfect. Cozy, cute, clean, organized and every detail was thought through. The view is a amazing - and proximity to the beach was just what this family had hoped for! Day trips to Yaquina Light House, Depoe Bay, Tillamook and of course, lunch at Mo's. Thanks for a great stay! We'll be back!

  The only thing I was disappointed in was the parking info. You need to state that the garage will not accommodate SUV's. We had two Chev Tahoes and while it was tight we did manage to park them at the side of the house. Had I known I could have brought a car.
  The house was old but quaint with lots of charm, well decorated and clean. We would stay here again.

  Our family spent a 3 day weekend at the Sea Star South. What a wonderful, charming place! We had 3 adults, including my 84 year old grandma and our two kids. Everyone enjoyed their stay and you can't get much closer to the water. Lots of unique touches, loved the fireplace and the view! Will stay here again for sure!

  My sisters and I met here for a weekend and were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic this place is! The view is breathtaking! Our only minor criticism is the kitchen. If you intend to eat meals in, you might consider bringing your own knives (the ones there cannot cut effectively). Also the dishwasher is one that you need to hook up to the sink - so we hand washed everything. However there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, the stove/oven is great. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The hot tub was awesome and the perfect way to end the night! I'm pretty sure we we'll be back!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the Sea Star comforts. So glad we decided to come out to the ocean and stay here. The only concern was the limited height of the garage door clearance. Glad there was a spot outside where we could park our Tacoma. Not sure what we would have done if we had brought two larger vehicles.

  This was our second visit to the Oregon coast and the first time at Sea Star South. Everything was just what we were hoping for. Great location, the property was very clean and everything was in great working order. The neighbors next door in Sea Star North were very kind and considerate. We were lucky and experienced great sunny weather in the lower 70's but even if it had been rainy we would have totally enjoyed our stay.

  We had such an awesome experience. Sunshine every day. Breathtaking views all day long. Very lazy relaxing vacation. Plenty to do close by if you wanted to. Puzzles toys games big screen, hot tub 12 steps to beach, Fun walk on beach to casino or breakfast lunch dinner . Close to grocery store. Lay in bed and watch the waves seem to come right into your room. Karen was awesome property manager. Thank you We will be going back.

  This is our second year staying at Sea Star. This year we rented both North and South and had a fabulous time. The weather was amazing and it was so great to wake up and be only footsteps from the beach. The house is great. It's older but in good condition. It’s a great place for kids.   We had a great time. The view is perfect, great acces to the beach. The house is very comfortable, andd if you like to cook, the kitchen have all you may need. Only complain is that you can hear the neighbors in sea star north, especially from one of the bedrooms. Te way out to the beach and the garage is shared with the neighbors, but it is not a big problem if you (and the neighbors) behave nicely.
  As the ocean water is too cold, the hot tub on the deck is great, especially at sunset.

  What a delightful little cottage. Cozy and comfy with direct access to the beach and all of the necessary amenities. We love this place and have stayed here a number of times. We enjoy walking the beach and scouting out treasures. Close to shopping, but, remote enough for tranquility.

  This was by far our best OR coast vaca ever! We could pretty much count on seeing some wildlife every morning while enjoying breakfast at the rental, from seals, sea lions, humpback whales, and the 'take the cake' was seeing a pod of 6 killer whales swim on by! We loved this location, this was our 5th year returning to Lincoln City and we're hoping to secure this rental for our future family vacas as well! We loved that you could walk out your back door down to the sand, plus it wasn't a far jaunt to the awesome tide pools at low tide - hundreds of starfish, sea anemonies, hermit crabs, fish and brightly colored shells. Definitely would recommend this rental to others. Til next year...

  We were a little unsure when we went into the house through the garage and a small porch with the refrigerator on it, then into the kitchen; then up the narrow stairs to the 3 beautiful bedrooms; once we got over our surprise, we fell in love with this eclectic beach house. The view was unequalled!! Beds were very comfy (although the bedroom on the north wall has a very thin wall between it and the north unit; I could hear every move they made). That having been said, we would definitely rent this house again.

  This place fit our every need. The accommodations were terrific. The living area is smaller than it looks online, but it had plenty of cozy chairs, so it was roomy enough for all of us. It was super quiet in a quiet neighborhood. The views from all the rooms are outstanding and just a few steps and you're on the beach. Couldn't ask for a more comfortable and relaxing experience so close to the ocean.

  I found the Sea Star South online and hoped it was as good as it looked on the internet. It was better! We stayed there for 4 nights and wished we has a couple of more. It had plenty of room for the 6 of us to mill around in and the views were to die for. You are literally right on the beach and the sunrises and sun sets were amazing! We will be going back again to stay and I know the people we were with were also impressed. Thanks for showing and describing the property exactly how it really is. We are originally from Oregon and the coast is our favorite place to go and now we have a favorite house to stay in.

  This beach rental was everything we hoped it would be. The location (right on the beach) was great for my family. We found the rental to be charming and had all the ammenities you could want. The beds were super comfortable, the house was very clean, and the hot tub was fantastic. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. Our family will be back!

  We loved the location and the view, unbeatable! the common garage was a little confusing at first, but was no big deal after I got use to it. The biggest issue we faced was lack of hot water. Whenever there was more than one shower, there was lukewarm to cold water, not sure why but maybe adding a second hot water heater would be good. We knew how to use the dishwasher, but I am surprised that there have not been issues with a rollaway dishwasher, most people have not used those.
  We swept the place and having the vinyl was easy to clean the bedrooms were great, very comfortable. I do think if an outside water, or the garage sink, were on there would be less sand tracked around. I read one of the books there and had a wonderful time relaxing. Our 8-yr old would watch the waves by the hour.
  We will definitely look to rent again.

  We enjoyed the location of the home, right on the beach. We watched the waves, whales, and beach walkers every day we were there. Absolutely gorgeous weather, no fog, light winds, and moderate temps. So nice to have a full kithen and nice beds.

  This was the first time my parents and grandmother was able to come to the Oregon Coast. We had such a great time, the house was so welcoming and comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi right on the deck facing the ocean. It was convienient to the Casino, and shopping. We would love to stay again but for a longer period of time!!

  My family and I had a wonderful time at Sea Star South. The location was perfect! The home was stocked with beach toys for my children and there was a closet full of activities and games to pass the time when the weather didn't allow for beach time. I absolutely loved it. The home was very clean as well. There are signs not to use shoes in the upper level of the home, but it does look as though some did not adhere to that request. But other than that, the home was well taken care of and the Staff was on point. I had to call to find out how to start the fireplace and within 10 minutes someone was there to help. Great service! Thank you!

  I have had wonderful and lasting childhood memories of this area. My wife will always come back to the Lincoln City area for a holiday. Personally, we prefer the more rustic beach homes over the modern ones. This unit lacked nothing when it came to being equipped like a home. Unfortunately the good weather was not part of the rental agreement. Still a great time including the annual salmon bake in Depoe Bay and crab cocktails from Barnacle Bills! Highly recommended!
