My girlfriends and I have been staying at the Seabird Cottage twice a year for several years. Wee choose this property because if it location and layout. Tee living area is open and we spend a lot of time together catching up and visiting. The deck and hot tub make for a great platform for sunsets. My only issue was the reliability of the wireless service. I needed to conduct some business while we were at the coast and the wireless was less than reliable. We have already booked for our next stay, so we will keep coming back.

This is our fourth or fifth stay at Seabird Cottage. We love this house, the style, location, layout is great for a vacation. A gorgeous, very well stocked kitchen is perfect for making great meals. The wood floors are starting to take a beating from frequent guests, but otherwise the home is spacious, beautifully appointed and spotless. The view of the surf is fantastic and we enjoyed the seagull that has staked a claim on Seabird Cottage, he enjoys just sitting on the railing and watching you. (Our daughter named him "Timothy" for fun!) Out of the numerous homes we have stayed at over the years, this is always our favorite.

The only issue would be the windows could use a good cleaning, and realizing that the home is a 3 story house is a problem. the house cleaning otherwise is always very good in general.

  The owners do regular cleanings on all windows with a film guard....even up high. Sometimes the wind will blow a certain direction and get a Seamist on the windows. There is a hose on the oceanfront if this happens. Sure appreciate them staying and hope they visit soon.

The ocean view from this house is AMAZING! We had a wonderful time staying in this home. It had everything we needed already there and it was comfortable. We stayed with our young children and my parents (age range 4-71)! It was so nice to spread out and enjoy the space the house allowed and also spend quality time together. This was our first time renting a house and it was a good experience. The house was relatively clean although it appears to need a really good deep clean. Smudges on the walls where people touch, and mildew around the tub in the master bathroom (upstairs oceanfront room). Also, blinds need dusted and outside windows cleaned.

Overall this is a great house with an amazing view. Beach access is a little tricky and you can't just walk right out on the beach whenever the mood strikes. It's also not super difficult either. Just keep it in mind.

Great view! Great hot tub! Clean and comfortable. Our only wrinkle was that the water tank was broken when we arrived and we had to spend the first night at another property which wasn't comparable, but that was not the rental company's fault. They quickly acquired a new tank and had it installed in time for us to move in the following day. Very well handled!

We did feel that the neighbors were keeping on eye on us, for A-1 beach rentals perhaps. We know the policy was for 4 vehicles. We had friends stop in for a visit (not to stay over), which made 5 cars, none of which were anywhere near the gravel road. Within the hour we had someone asking the car to be moved. Had the garage door been closed I doubt anyone would have noticed. We were a quiet group, no partying etc. It just seemed a bit extreme to be watched so closely. Other than this we had a great stay and loved the house. I appreciate the fact that you hold left behind belongings for 30 days as we did leave several items.

The house has a gas fire place with a window. Shortly after we turned it on, my 2 year old granddaughter touched the glass and was rushed to the hospital with second degree burns. I asked the rental agents to please place a warning sign on the fireplace to prevent future accidents.

Karen @ A1 Rental was very kind & helpful. We contacted her last minute & she accommodated us. The Seabird Cottage is beautiful & had everything that we needed. It has 3 floors with a lot of stairs but the outstanding view of the ocean made up for it. Comfy furniture, great amenities & only a short hike to the beach. We loved it so much...we hardly left the house during our stay. The only suggestion would be a king bed, as my hubby is 6'5" & the queen was very small for us. Otherwise, we loved it & can't wait to go back!!

Prepare amazing meals in the gourmet kitchen while listening to your favorite music via in-ceiling speaker sound system, standing at the huge granite island countertop, watching the waves crashing on the beach below, what an awesome way to spend the afternoon cooking for your friends and family! Four leather rocker/recliners soothe you, as you fall asleep watching the sun set into the surf. The Seabird is an amazing place! This is probably the 10th different house we've stayed at thru A1 and Seabird is among the best. The driveway is a fairly sloped and not the best for parking but there's a spacious two car garage (we fit an expedition EL and a Forrester). Lower level is garage and a master bedroom with deck/ocean view (one window).
Middle level is large wide living area/ kitchen. It has a full wall of windows for a great panoramic view of the sand and ocean. It has PLENTIFUL seating that is very comfortable - best seating I've seen so far from A1 houses. There's a fireplace in the main area with a 37?" tv up above. There's another little room attached which is a small tv room with a smaller tv but lots of modern movies and windowed sliding doors to keep the noise in. Half bath is on middle level.

Third level is three bedrooms. Two face away from the beach but have closets and are nice. Full bath at the end of the hall for those rooms. There's a master bedroom with a full beach view and attached full bathroom - very nice.

Deck access is from the middle level. It's a decent sized deck with a hot tub. THe seating is very comfortable and the view is top notch. Hot tub is older but large, clean and working very well (no problem maintaining 103-104 degrees). Lots of jets for a good massage. No complaints on this place - and honestly there's usually something that seems kinda misrepresented (excellent advertising agency I guess) but this place is top notch all the way. Book early!

We really enjoyed this house. The location and views were excellent, the house was clean and tidy and the balcony, hot tub and windows facing the water were a highlight along with the built-in speakers.
The only downfall was that the house did not have a BBQ, an essential part of any summer vacation. Other than no BBQ, the house was awesome and we would recommend this house to anyone looking for an awesome vacation

We had a great stay for our "beachbabe" weekend. The home accommodated us very nicely -- very clean, bright and spacious. Access to the beach was a bit tricky as the stairs were closed (for maintenance?) We definitely will be staying again!
Love it! My second stay here in 2 months!! Wish I could afford the summer rates!

Loved the property, it has such a good vib and great light. Very comfortable, though the sofa/ loveseat are looking pretty wornout.
Kitchen could use some more of the basics, large bowls and tupperware type stuff.
Overall it was great!

This is our 6th Girls weekend and we have always stayed at a house from A1 Beach Rentals! The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to accomodate us. Even supplying a play pen and high chair so we wouldn't have to bring our own!!! No complaints! The Seabird Cottage is modern, beautiful, and has a Great view!

We loved this house! It is great for a group like us. The great room is absolutetly fantastic. The views were amazing!
You may want to look at the lock mech. for the glass door, it kept flying open.

What an amazing home! We are already planning our trip there for next year. Awesome place for a girl's weekend. Felt pampered and rested. Views were amazing.
My only complaint is the directions. We arrived on a dark rainy night and struggled with the directions a bit. Would recommend adding the street names for the right on gravel Rd (37th?) and left on Anchor Ct. Would be helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to rest!

The large kitchen and spacious countertops were perfect for us. We especially appreciated the 3 and a half bathrooms. We have told several people and they all want to plan their vacations at this property.

This is a beautiful beach house with an amazing view. Even though we didn't use the hot tub, it is in such a nice location that affords a beautiful view and privacy. The rooms are small but comfy. The best part of the house is the kitchen/living room area that was a great gathering spot!

My family promised to take me to the beach if I survived my cancer scare and I did, so they did. It was a short trip but well worth it. The house was beautiful with a fantastic view. My son in law couldn't stop talking about how great it was. This was so much better than staying at a hotel. We were able to hangout together in one large room. We have the privilege of staying at Seabird every year. The view is breath taking because of being on a bluff, but the trade off is two flights of stairs (15 each to be exact) for that view and no direct beach access but we love it here because of the style of home and view. One thing that needs improving is the house needs a good thorough cleaning. I don't think the floors have ever been washed (very dirty). But that take doesn't take away from this beautiful place.
The managers, Karen and her husband are amazing and are always extremely attentive to our every need.

Our stay at Seabird Cottage was great. The Kitchen and bath's have everything you need! We have stayed at other properties that are not stocked even close to this place. The view is unbeatable. The early morning hours of check-out I came down with shell fish poisening! I was literally unable to check out at that time and they were awesome! So understanding and pleasant about the situation it took a lot of stress off my husband. Thanks! We will be back

I rented it for a girls weekend and it was everything that we wanted. It was storming, and really nasty outside but inside all 4 of us were lined up at the windows just watching the storm. We have enjoyed the Seabird home three times now and always wish it was time to leave. Next time I would make sure that I inspect the house with a "fine tooth comb", count the number of dishes etc. so my inventory and condition of the house matched the managements avoiding confusion at the end.

This was a perfect spot for our family as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. The 2 teenagers with us especially liked the lower level bedroom and bath. The only problem was a shortage of towels in the kitchen.

This place was so wonderful. The view and open layout of the kitchen made it the spot for everyone to hangout in. We loved that it was secluded and how the rooms were placed for privacy. It is great for families and groups of friends. We cooked together, played games on the kitchen table and even went in the hot tub. I have gone on lots of vacations in Oregon and this cottage was by far the best.
