  This was a fun house and the view of the ocean was awesome! Access to the beach is right out the back door- one of the best sites we have stayed at. It was very cozy and clean. Parking was interesting-the garage only holds a small car- good thing one of ours was a honda! The other two had to parallel park which was a bit of a challange with 2 mini vans. Otherwise, the house was awesome and we will stay here again!

  This was our first time to the Oregon coast and staying here made it an awesome experience. This property had gorgeous views from almost every window and quick access down to the beach. Our kids loved being right on the ocean. We had plenty of space inside to be comfortable with the kids upstairs. It was great to have a dishwasher and washing machine and dryer. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook. Only disappointment was that I thought there was a hot tub out back. We would love to return to the Shoreline Chateau in the summer!

  We had a wonderful time at this lovely beach house, even though experiencing historical 70 mph winds, several inches of SNOW! and 21 hours of power outtage, saved by the fabulous gas fireplace. Our only suggestions would be for firmer mattresses in the largest rooms upstairs. Otherwise, we were thrilled, especially with the expansive views through windows across the front of the house. We will definitely try to stay in this home again.

  For the six of us that stayed at Shoreline Chateau we could not have been happier with our vacation "home". The views of the ocean were amazing, easy access down a few steps to the beach. The home was very clean and the property managment people were great to work with. There was a broken key holder and they were over to fix and replace is so quickly we didn't even see them. The drive way to park cars was a bit tricky as it is steep, we only had 2 cars so it worked out fine. We hope to return to Shoreline Chateau it is a beautiful home.

  Lovely home, well supplied kitchen, wonderful views and easy access to the beach. Difficult parking because the incline is so steep and we would like to have known before we got there that we would have to go from our bedroom through another bedroom to access the bathroom.This is not apparent from the 360 degree view on the website. It was awkward just because of the makeup of our party.

  The location and beach view/access is wonderful. Broad sandy beach with few people, short walk to amazing rock structures and tide pools. The house itself is a funky, eclectic pseudo-Mediterranean style, but it's clean and functional with lots of room
  for our extended family. Hot tub overlooking the beach was a great bonus.

  This was our 28th year vacationing with family in Lincoln City and our 4th year at the Shoreline Chateau. The beach house is quaint and relaxing...the view phenomenal, and beach access the BEST! Property managers Linda and Karen and friendly fellow from "Whistling Winds" (sorry forgot his name) could not be more helpful and engaged in making sure our stay was wonderful. Dryer was broken (things happen) and repairman was sent & we were provided with $ for nearby laundry...dryer fixed before end of stay :) This is a special place and we treat it like it is our own home. Thanks for such a great spot to connect with our family and carry on traditions with our grandkids. Can't wait to come back next year.

  Our family rented the shoreline over the Thanksgiving holiday. Location is superb, right on the beach with your own private access. Futhermore, the living room/family room was perfect for a large family of 10. Very nice deck, with hot tub was also a plus. The only issue we had was the heat did not work very well in the upstairs king bedroom. Also, parking is limited.

  This was the "work girls" 4th annual beach trip, and the Shoreline Chateau has been the best view and location of them all. The decor was on the "funky" side, seemed a bit odd to have a european feel at the coast, but that aside it was clean and well stocked, having all the beds, and lots of room we spent more time at the home then we have in past stays, would definately return again.

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Shoreline Chateau. The house was just as described and the view was spectacular! We had a small problem with the TV reception and contacted the property manager and she was great. There was someone over with in a half hour or so and the problem was quickly taken care of. Excellent house, great customer service and we lucked out and got beautiful weather. I have told several people about A1 Rentals and we will definitely use them again:)

  This was a great weekend! We couldn't believe the view. It was winter and we had rain, snow, sunshine, hail, and thunder and lightning. It couldn't have been better. The pictures of us girls in the hot tub were awesome, with the sunset in the background. I will definitely do this again!

  We loved every minute of our stay at the Shoreline Chateau and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet location with wonderful views right over the ocean. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. The Italian dinner music CD was a nice plus! All the furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed looking out at the ocean while we ate or sat on any of the chairs and couches in the living room, taking advantage of the full length windows. Management was quick to help when we had a problem with the garage opener. Location is great - a few minutes away from the Casino, supermarket, highway, stores, restaurants, etc.

  We have rented Shoreline Chateau the past 2 years for our annual girls trip. Its been a perfect beach house for us. It sleeps 6 perfectly if you want lots of room, but will accomodate up to 9 comfortably. We always do bon fires, and have seen an occasional whale. Its a great house, with a good vibe to it.

  We really love this house. The location is unbeatable! We love that it is steps to the beach (easy for kids potty breaks) and that the hot tub was right off of the deck. We had smores nightly and loved doing a fire on the beach. It is such a great vacation home, we love staying here and will do so again.

  We've stayed in this house twice, and would happily stay there again. The location is terrific, the property is wonderful, the view incredible, and access to the beach is perfect. We have sat for hours on the back deck watching whales feed, collected mussles from rocks just down the beach at low tide, found agates, enjoyed Lincoln 's hard to find anything at all to complain about. So I won't. This is an IDEAL house for two families, or three couples if sharing expenses helps you get to the Oregon Coast.
  
  A-1 Rentals was extremely helpful and conscientious of our needs when we hosted a small wedding (operative word here is small...don't try to plan such an event for more than a small handful of people) and we will do business with them again. A-1 and the Shoreline Chateau get my highest recomendation!

  We so enjoyed our stay at Shoreline Chateau!!! The home is beautiful and the location is breath-taking from morning to night! We stayed there with my brother and his family and had a lovely time. It was early enough in the summer that we had the beach to ourselves almost the whole time. Our kids built sandcastles at least once a day and stayed up late to watch the ocean wash them away. =) The next time we vacation in Oregon we will definitely rent from you again and would love to reserve this house!
