  Great place to have your gathering. We hardly left the house except to walk on the beach. A1 Beachrentals always makes sure that everything is clean & prepared. The few times that we have had a problem with the house, the company sends someone right out to fix it. That said, in 10 years of renting from them a couple times a year, we've required help with something once. Great houses, great locations, great service.

  Karen @ A1 Rental was very kind & helpful. We contacted her last minute & she accommodated us. The Seabird Cottage is beautiful & had everything that we needed. It has 3 floors with a lot of stairs but the outstanding view of the ocean made up for it. Comfy furniture, great amenities & only a short hike to the beach. We loved it so much...we hardly left the house during our stay. The only suggestion would be a king bed, as my hubby is 6'5" & the queen was very small for us. Otherwise, we loved it & can't wait to go back!!

  The Seabird is the quintessential beach house! It has a million dollar view! The home is brilliantly designed to take full advantage of the tremendous scenery! The view here is everything! If you want to feel like you're sitting right on the edge of the ocean in complete security,this is the perfect home! Every detail has been thought of! Prepare amazing meals in the gourmet kitchen while listening to your favorite music via in-ceiling speaker sound system, standing at the huge granite island countertop, watching the waves crashing on the beach below, what an awesome way to spend the afternoon cooking for your friends and family! Four leather rocker/recliners soothe you, as you fall asleep watching the sun set into the surf. The Seabird is an amazing place! We'd highly recommend this property to anyone with very discerning taste! We are "Seabird veterans" now and will return for a third time in 2013!!!

  We had never rented a house prior to this. During our vacations we preferred the amenities of the resort hotels. However, we were pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our stay at Seabird Cottage. It is an amazing property with a view to die for!!! The house was extremely well kept and spotless. The staff and owners were so pleasant and accommodating. We wanted for absolutely nothing. Looking forward to visiting the coast and once again, staying at Seabird Cottage. Don't thiink it's possible to want to stay anywhere else :)

  This is probably the 10th different house we've stayed at thru A1 and Seabird is among the best. The driveway is a fairly sloped and not the best for parking but there's a spacious two car garage (we fit an expedition EL and a Forrester). Lower level is garage and a master bedroom with deck/ocean view (one window).
  Middle level is large wide living area/ kitchen. It has a full wall of windows for a great panoramic view of the sand and ocean. It has PLENTIFUL seating that is very comfortable - best seating I've seen so far from A1 houses. There's a fireplace in the main area with a 37?" tv up above. There's another little room attached which is a small tv room with a smaller tv but lots of modern movies and windowed sliding doors to keep the noise in. Half bath is on middle level.
  
  Third level is three bedrooms. Two face away from the beach but have closets and are nice. Full bath at the end of the hall for those rooms. There's a master bedroom with a full beach view and attached full bathroom - very nice.
  
  Deck access is from the middle level. It's a decent sized deck with a hot tub. THe seating is very comfortable and the view is top notch. Hot tub is older but large, clean and working very well (no problem maintaining 103-104 degrees). Lots of jets for a good massage. No complaints on this place - and honestly there's usually something that seems kinda misrepresented (excellent advertising agency I guess) but this place is top notch all the way. Book early!

  We really enjoyed this house. The location and views were excellent, the house was clean and tidy and the balcony, hot tub and windows facing the water were a highlight along with the built-in speakers.
  The only downfall was that the house did not have a BBQ, an essential part of any summer vacation. Other than no BBQ, the house was awesome and we would recommend this house to anyone looking for an awesome vacation

  We had a great stay for our "beachbabe" weekend. The home accommodated us very nicely -- very clean, bright and spacious. Access to the beach was a bit tricky as the stairs were closed (for maintenance?) We definitely will be staying again!

  My only complaint is the directions. We arrived on a dark rainy night and struggled with the directions a bit. Would recommend adding the street names for the right on gravel Rd (37th?) and left on Anchor Ct. Would be helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to rest!

  My family promised to take me to the beach if I survived my cancer scare and I did, so they did. It was a short trip but well worth it. The house was beautiful with a fantastic view. My son in law couldn't stop talking about how great it was. This was so much better than staying at a hotel. We were able to hangout together in one large room.   We have the privilege of staying at Seabird every year. The view is breath taking because of being on a bluff, but the trade off is two flights of stairs (15 each to be exact) for that view and no direct beach access but we love it here because of the style of home and view. One thing that needs improving is the house needs a good thorough cleaning. I don't think the floors have ever been washed (very dirty). But that take doesn't take away from this beautiful place.
  The managers, Karen and her husband are amazing and are always extremely attentive to our every need.

  Our stay at Seabird Cottage was great. The Kitchen and bath's have everything you need! We have stayed at other properties that are not stocked even close to this place. The view is unbeatable. The early morning hours of check-out I came down with shell fish poisening! I was literally unable to check out at that time and they were awesome!   I rented it for a girls weekend and it was everything that we wanted. It was storming, and really nasty outside but inside all 4 of us were lined up at the windows just watching the storm. The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen...WOW! The only thing was it was a tad bit hard to find but other that...A+

  We have enjoyed the Seabird home three times now and always wish it was time to leave. Next time I would make sure that I inspect the house with a "fine tooth comb", count the number of dishes etc. so my inventory and condition of the house matched the managements avoiding confusion at the end.

  This was a perfect spot for our family as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. The 2 teenagers with us especially liked the lower level bedroom and bath. The only problem was a shortage of towels in the kitchen.

  This place was so wonderful. The view and open layout of the kitchen made it the spot for everyone to hangout in. We loved that it was secluded and how the rooms were placed for privacy. It is great for families and groups of friends. We cooked together, played games on the kitchen table and even went in the hot tub. I have gone on lots of vacations in Oregon and this cottage was by far the best.
