  Three couples, all related, thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time together in a perfectly wonderful, comfortable, scenic beach front home. The pictures are real they are only missing you. Kitchen is well stocked to make cooking and serving meals like home. Love the bedrooms, plenty of choice to fit individual needs. Home is very welcoming. We celebrated our parents 61st, aunt & uncle's 50th and our 40th wedding anniversaries. Perfectly, priceless, peace. This was a wonderful vacation.

We are concerned that the city of Lincoln City is thinking about not allowing vacation houses in residental neighborhoods. We would probably look for another city to spend Super Bowl with another couple.

  A GROUP OF 7 OF US OLDER GALS STAYED HERE AND WE LOVED THE HOUSE. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM AND THE VIEW WAS FANTASTIC!! WE HAD A FULL MOON AND TO SEE IT SHINING ON THE OCEAN AT NIGHT, WHAT A TREAT. THE MANY LARGE WINDOWS
  GIVES YOU A GREAT VIEW.WE LOVED THE BIGGER KITCHEN. THE OTHER PLACES NEAR HEATHERGATE ARE MUCH SMALLER. THE CASINO IS CLOSE BY, WHICH

  We were beyond ecstatic to drive up to this charming expansive comfy beach house....entering thru the beautiful courtyard and sunroom to the warm welcoming spacious living room....dazzling waves greet you ....windows galore!

  It was great week for all of use. We all come from all over the country Ohio,Nevada,Idaho, Eastern Washington.The weather great,it's a great location. Easier accessiblility for use and any family who has elderly and small children that can get on to the beach area. We love all the shops and the restaurants and the casino. This year we find two small glass bowls down on the beach.We'll be bach next year if they don't Annex roads ends.

  Love every house we have rented through A.1......and we have rented almost all! Found trouble @ Heathergate, when we heard water running. Notified Karen and she had a man out within 15 min. By the time dinner was ready @ 6 all was well with the water heater and (potential flood was avoided!!

  This was a last minute booking for our family vacation which turned out fantastic. My mother is 70 and with a little help she was able to male it down the steps to the beach. Frankly, once your in the house you do not want to leave. We will be back. Book early through the management company. VRBO is not kept updated very well.

  We celebrated two anniversaries, out 8th and my folks 56th. Also my mother in-laws 90th B-Day. We stayed 5 days and only ate out once as a we thoroughly enjoyed just sitting around the dinner table chatting till late at night...and the food was better
  too! The elderly folks fell in love with the place as well as the serenity of the ocean and beautiful beach. We are already planning a trip back next year with the rest of the family. Beautiful place!

  It is a wonderful location with great view. Beds were comfortable. The house is well laid out for enjoyment and use. When we got there we were unable to get the TV to work and had to call the motel. It would help if you had a sign or display by the TV letting us know which remote to use. Looking forward to coming back.

  Home was more than sufficiently provided with the basic necessities. Only problem we had was the heating; some rooms were very cold and others very hot no matter how much we tried to adjust accordingly. Otherwise it was a super experience and plan to do it again.

  We wish that there were more the other bedrooms and more blankets in each of the rooms also. The parking is a little tight, with two cars and a pickup it's tight. Very quiet we all got the rest that we need. The time was short but we will be back next year.

  Wonderful view for our 92-year-old mom who couldn't get down on the beach. We ate all our meals in and the house had everything we needed to do that. Two bathrooms is a squeeze for a party of nine mostly seniors set in their ways. The loft for kids will be wonderful when our 9-month old grandson is older.Furniture was comfortable, nice TV for watching baseball playoffs.Everyone had a great time.

• HOT WATER SYSTEM---There was a problem with the hot water in that, at times, there just was not enough hot water supply available. Bath times had to be staggered/planned to compensate.

  We have spent 15 years vacationing with A-1 Beach Rentals. Back when they had only five, but the most beautiful, clean, peaceful rentals we had ever been too. The staff of this company have been incredible over the years from accommodating last minute needs to small (never had a large) issues immediately. Gene (owner) is on site in a matter of a couple hours if even a small issue arises. Wonderful people, the homes are the best and absolutely affordable! What more can you ask for?   My mom passed away last August and she had rented the house for October so we went in her memory. It was her favorite place at the beach and we all felt like it was our home while we were there. We had a great time and really enjoyed the view and even got pictures and video of seals. I would recomend this house to anyone, especially people that have a hard time dealing with stairs. All of the important amenities are on the main floor and easily accessable.

  My husband John and I drove form Calgary to stay at Heatherglen. The journey was wonderful, such great things to see. When we arrived at the house we were like a couple of kids exploring. What a fantastic place. Full of character with a lovely homey feeling. We stayed for 5 days and will not hesitate to return in the near future. We took long strolls on the virtually deserted beach, sat and drank wine and watched the magnificent sun sets. There were lots of interesting places to visit nearby and great shopping if thats what you like. I would recommend the house to anyone. Thank You

  This cozy cottage has a grand view of the ocean, beach, and headlands. A short, steep flight of stairs leads to the beach where one can find tide pools to the north and miles of walking to the south. The house itself has a charming Cape Cod feel. The guest rooms are spread out in two wings that provide quiet and private space for up to 10 guests. A great property for relaxing family gatherings!

  I have stayed at Heathergate 5 or 6 times. Every time I walk through the door it feels like coming home. We rent the Heathergate house every Spring, and it's hard to wait a year to go back.   Five of us rented this house for five nights in April 2007. Awesome, beautiful weather. The house is right on the beach and the deck was lovely for drinking wine and chatting away. The house was clean, many of the furnishings were new and everything was in fine order. One of the girls from California immediately called her family is renting the house for this summer. My sisters rent a home from A-1 Beach Rentals every October and we've stayed at several of their homes. We are always impressed with how nicely appointed they are.

  My family and I love staying at the Heathergate. The location is ideal, and the home is like a home away from home. Everything you could ask for...except a hot-tub overlooking the crashing waves!
